TL;DR — Ribbon Rewards is a free UK rent rewards programme that lets tenants earn points on every rent payment and redeem them for vouchers at Amazon, Deliveroo, Avios, Nike, Nando’s, Eurostar and 24+ more brands. It is the simplest way to earn rewards paying rent in the UK. There are no fees, no credit checks, and no landlord sign-up required. It works with any rental property in the UK.
If you pay rent in the UK, you already know the maths. Rent is almost certainly your biggest monthly expense — often £800, £1,200, £1,500 or more. And for years, every penny of it disappeared into your landlord’s account with nothing coming back to you.
That changes today.
What is Ribbon Rewards?
Ribbon Rewards is a free loyalty programme built specifically for UK renters — and the easiest way to earn rewards paying rent in the UK. You pay your rent through your Ribbon account, earn points on every payment, and redeem those points for vouchers and gift cards at the brands you already use.
That’s it. No fees. No tricks. No catch.
For every £1 of rent you pay, you earn 1 Ribbon point. 100 points = £1 in rewards. On a £1,200/month rent, that’s £144 a year — just for paying rent the way you already do.
How does it work?
- Sign up in two minutes. No credit checks. No fees. Just your name and email.
- You get a dedicated bank account in your name — held at a fully authorised UK bank.
- Transfer your rent into your Ribbon account. On your rent date, we forward it directly to your landlord. They see a normal payment from your named account. No confusion, no delays.
- Points land instantly. The moment your payment goes through, your points are credited. Redeem whenever you’re ready.
Your landlord doesn’t need to sign up. It works with any rental property in the UK. You can read the full breakdown on how Ribbon works, or browse the FAQ if you have specific questions.

Is this the UK equivalent of Bilt Rewards?
We get asked this a lot — and we take it as a compliment.
Bilt Rewards is one of the most genuinely brilliant ideas in consumer fintech in years. The team at Bilt looked at rent — America’s single biggest household expense — and asked a question nobody had thought to ask: why don’t renters get anything back? The programme they built became a phenomenon for good reason. It proved that renters deserve to be treated like valued customers, not an afterthought.
We’re big admirers. Ribbon Rewards exists because that idea inspired us to ask the same question for the UK.
But the UK rental market is its own beast. Different regulations, different banking infrastructure, different tenant expectations. Rather than transplanting a US model wholesale, we built Ribbon from scratch around how renting actually works here — no credit card required, no landlord participation needed, a dedicated account in your name at a fully authorised UK bank, and a rewards catalogue built around the brands UK renters actually use.
Same spirit. Built for Britain.
Is my money actually safe?
We know “free rewards on your rent” sounds like it might be too good to be true. So let’s be direct about how this works.
Your rent sits in a ring-fenced account in your name at a fully authorised UK bank regulated by the FCA and PRA. If Ribbon ceased to exist tomorrow, your money would still be protected.
Your landlord receives payment directly from your named account. It looks exactly like a normal bank transfer to them. There is no middleman confusion and no delay.
How do we afford the rewards? When you redeem points at a partner brand, that brand pays Ribbon a small commission — similar to how credit card cashback programmes work. You pay nothing. The brands cover it.
What real renters are saying
“If you’re renting it’s silly not to do it. I was skeptical at first but I’ve successfully cashed out a pile of points as Amazon vouchers.” — Joel W., Google Reviews
“Initially I was skeptical about Ribbon Rewards but after having paid my rent through their system for a few months and successfully redeemed and spent my reward points I’m now recommending it to my friends.” — Vic C., Google Reviews
“I was sceptical at first, but Ribbon Rewards has been fast and easy to use for paying my rent. I’ve earned and redeemed reward points. If you pay rent especially somewhere expensive like London, you should be using Ribbon.” — Cameron W., Google Reviews
Ribbon is rated 4.9 on Google Reviews.
