Is it free to join?
Yes, 100%! Tenants do not pay any fees for joining the programme or earning rewards.
How does it work?
When you sign up, you receive a bank account on Ribbon. This account can only be used to pay rent. When you pay your rent to this account, this gets forwarded to your landlord and/or managing agent whilst you receive the proof of payment. This allows us to verify your rent has been paid.
How does Ribbon make money?
Ribbon does not charge tenants any fees. Instead, we make money by partnering with landlords and estate agencies, and soon by adding additional merchants to our rewards programme.
Who is the account provider, Griffin?
Your operational accounts are provided by Griffin Bank Ltd (”Griffin”). Griffin is a company registered in England and Wales (No. 10842931).
